Default Malahat Vfd Gets A New Toy

I just got this in from the Chief. I dont have all specs on it yet, but this is the new Rescue truck for MVFD - Truck 6. Well done to the Guys 'n Gals who were able to make this happen!

    What I do know is:

    - crew cab
    - 7L (?) diesel
    - walk-a-round cabinets
    - 4x4
    - air conditioned

Yes, especially since the old rescue, Truck 4, was puke green/yellow. But now all the trucks match, in red.

Question though...why does a FD in the "cold white north" need A/C? All they have to do is open the windows...Think of the money the taxpayers would save...or they could buy some ice-melt with it...

I have lost my mind..has anyone seen it? it's not worth much..but it's mine

Mmmmmm could be...... But you better ask the WOT and the polar bears.... they might want to have a say in the matter.
