My folks have recently moved to Cleburne... where is Rowlette in relation??
Department size? Pay structure? Paramedic required? Can you give some more details please? Thanks.

Rowlett's ENE of Dallas, next to Garland. It's probably about 60-65 miles from Cleburne. Travel time... well that all depends. I used to live in Grandview (near Cleburne) and drive to Fair Park and it took me about an hour.

Here is the latest info to come down the line. The City will begin taking applications March 31, 2006 and will be giving a test for qualified applicants on May 5, 2006. There are two vacancies in the organization. Good luck to all who apply.
Minimum
Requirements
Ř Paramedic certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services or NREMT-P with 15 college credit semester hrs. from an accredited college with “C” average or better, or
Ř Texas State Certified Firefighter/ TDSHS - EMT, with 15 college credit semester hrs. from an accredited college with “C” average or better, or
Ř Currently attending a TCFP certified recruit academy to include TDSHS-EMT training and currently having
15 college credit semester hrs. from an accredited college with “C” average or better at time of hire.
Ř Must be 21 yrs. of age on the date of the physical fitness examination.
Ř Must successfully complete all phases of the employment process as scheduled including a written examination, physical agility test, polygraph examination, oral interview and stress test.
