    Default Milwaukee Fire Academy

    Can anyone give me any info on this? I don't know much about it. Just head some things from my instructors at MATC

    There is no web-site for the academy itself, but the Bureau of Instruction and Training is included in the departments own site. The academy is only for City of Milwaukee new hires, not to be confused with the MATC courses taught there.
    Entry level firefighter pay is 24,000 annual I believe, which is stepped up to 26,000 at recruit school graduation. Currently the recruit school is 22 weeks long. Generally speaking, two classes are run per year with around 40 recruits in each, give or take.
