Unconscious FF was found on the 9th floor...The FF was taken to St. Barnabas and from what I heard is doing ok.

Hope all is well with the Brother.
Have to admit though, when you indicated "BX" the first thought I had was that it was on a military base somewhere. BX is a common reference for Base Exchange.

The fire was on the 10th floor. She had control and was in the 9th floor stairwell. Not sure who found her. But from all accounts she is up and about in the hospital and doing ok.

A Brother or a Sister.. either way, if she is doing well, thats what counts

Get well soon Sister!
Just because it's called a throw bag, doesn't mean you throw the whole bag... you're supposed to hold onto the rope.

Was she in an SCBA? What was the smoke condition at the time? Why was she operating alone?

Matty ...
Made the assumption she was alone as she was "found un...". Possibly a bad interpretation on my part based on the wording.

Ya, tough story to interpret, as usual not much on detail from the press. As important as it is to "get it out" quickly, most times I wish they would take a bit more time to get the story straight first.
Anyone seen/heard an update? If you don't do it RIGHT today, when will you have time to do it over? (Hall of Fame basketball player/coach John Wooden)

It is sounding as if she may have been on the floor below the fire at the standpipe, and that whatever happened had nothing to do with the products of fire. We hav'nt heard the full story yet, so lets not jump to conclusions that she had no mask, was alone etc....The way we operate though...If she was at the standpipe hooking up, than yes, she would most likley be alone, doing her job (yes we do operate alone at times) You'll be happy to know, that she is doing well though

Ya'll need to tell Nate to stop crossdressing while on da' job. Seriously now, his little fetish has gone too far.
In all seriousness, I wish a speedy recovery to the member of the service. Hope she's doing well, and is back on the rig soon.
