Columbus are they actual shirts from local fire depts. or the ones they make and sell? My husband always talks about traveling and visiting other depts. and since there is NO time for this I thought this would be a great idea for a bday gift. THANKS for your help!

Ummm, not to spoil the party folks, but how do we know you are who you say? How do we know your not just looking for official FD shirts to use in, shall we say, improper activities? Please dont take this wrong, but after 9/11, we have to be cautious.

I can send anyone with doubt his station and phone number to verify his employment. My husband loves his job and is very devoted...and would never use it in any bad way. This was just an idea for something special for a birthday gift. He has been a ff for four years now and will actually be attending the conference in Indiana in April I think??? To represent his dept. for the ff convention.

Because if this was a terrorist with half of a brain, they would have already ordered a firefighter's uniform from some place like Gall's with no questions asked. Even if this person isn't a firefighter's wife... so what? A metric ton of non-firefighters purchased fire department t-shirts after 9-11.

I know of fire department's that sell t-shirts as a fundraiser. I know the world changed in 2001, but I'm glad my world didn't change in such a way that I find everything suspicious.

Thanks for the support...I do understand people being suspicious! My friends have asked my husband for shirts and hes like NO WAY! They might go out and buy alcoholic beverages with them on! haha
And like I said before...I can verify to anyone who has doubts in some way that I spend 24 out of 48 home alone while hes at the station...and thats not including extra shifts!
Thanks to everybody who has replied!
