I'll be there! I think it's my 5th or 6th one...There are a lot of good seminars Wednesday and Thursday, too.

    I wish I could come.

Since I can't I will be kicking 27's behind to make sure he goes Chief Woods. I already told him about it awhile back when I saw it was in DC. He has no excuse and I know his volunteer department has tickets. There Rick, I've put you on the spot. You better go and take notes for me.

Maybe next year. But do you need to be in the fire service to get in?

No, just have $200.00 per person for Dinner. Assuming that you want to attend the dinner. There are Hospitality Suites at the hotel that are up and running by mid-afternoon though. You could have a fun afternoon without spending any money, just show up and mingle.

It's $250, but it's CFSI's biggest fundraiser for the year, that's how they get the majority of their budget. It should not be about the money. CFSI has done a lot for the fire service since it's founding in 1989.

Their mission statement sums it up:

Thanks. It will have to be something to look at next year as long as I plan in advance for the vacation dates. The cost is not an issue (unless it was maye $500-600 a plate). But $250 is nothing.

have fun everyone. maybe I'll see you next year.

Sadly, I will not be attending as that is a Thursday night, and I will be working my brain (if thats possible ) in EMT class at that time, AND that is also Mid-Term exam night too.

I'd love to go, but it can't be this year.

or the seminars which ever comes first.
