A bunch of us were sitting around talking about musicians we wished we could have seen live.....this was mine in no particular order...

    Hank Williams
    AC/DC with Bob Scott
    Metallica w/Cliff Burton
    Johnny Cash
    Frank Sinatra
    Nirvana
    Patsy Cline
    Lynyrd Skynyrd pre-plane crash

    What are yours?

I would have loved to see Led Zeppelin in their prime. The best I could do was see Page and Plant when they toured together about ten years ago.

    Ladies and gentlemen, The Doors

    A little trivia question:

What was the significance of “Mr. Mojo Risin” in the song L.A. Woman?

I've got an idea...but I don't think the webteam would like it!

Let's put it this way....Mr. Mojo refers to Jim Morrison...and the fact that he repeats it faster and faster refers to the Big "O" if ya smell what I'm cookin'.

Default U2 is playing as I'm writing this!!

    The Doors
    Bob Marley

    Rolling Stones

Queen (again, with Freddie of course)
    Led Zep
    The Beatles

To name a few. If I could go back in time though, it would be to drool over Jim Morrison and it would have been awesome to see Bob Marley in concert.

    *sigh*

Still have a chance for the Stones I guess.

Medic Master could be correct. But I was also told it is an anagram for Jim Morrison.

Not bragging Sheri but I saw Bob Marley in concert. Maybe that's another thread, Acts Ive seen"

    Bob Marley
    The Who
    Grateful Dead
    Pink Floyd
    Procol Harem
    Savoy brown
    Uriah Heap
    Beach Boys
    Eric Clapton
    Fleetwood Mac
    etc etc etc.

And the greatest of them all

    Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Sadly though not a young thin Linda Ronstadt

I did however see Heart featuring young and thin Wilson sisters.

Do you mean with Dave K. or Dave A. behind the drums? Pearl Jam is my favorite band of all time, and while I like all of the drummers that they have had, Matt Cameron is by FAR my favorite.

Acts I'd like to have seen...

    Led Zepellin
    The Police
    Pink Floyd
    Queen
    The Eagles
    The Who

Boy, to think back on the groups I HAVE seen....(counting some that were opening acts for another group....some of which were better than the headliners )

AC/DC (Not with Bon Scott, unfortunately)
Bachman Turner Overdrive (opening for Van Halen)
    Beach Boys
Cheap Trick (opened for, I think, John Waite or somebody lame like that ...we caught Cheap Trick then split to go bar hopping )
Robert Plant (post-Led Zepellin days )
Van Halen (3 times....once with Dave, twice with Sammy)
    Rush (3 times)
    RATT
Bon Jovi (opened for RATT, blew them off the stage....)
KISS (mid 90's tour, when they put the makeup on again...Awesome!)
    Primus (opened for Rush)
George Strait (twice, as a favor to my wife, although if I have to go to a country concert he's one act I don't mind....)
Teri Clark (opening for George Strait)
    James Taylor
ZZ Top (One of my all time favorite concerts)
    Chicago
    Metallica
    Rod Stewart
    Aerosmith
    Ted Nugent (opened for Aerosmith)
Stray Cats (don't laugh, I like the Stray Cats....saw them at the '84 World's Fair in New Orleans...)

Seems like I'm missing a few....Boy, now I feel old

My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."
