Does anyone have any experiance with building their own hose pressure tester? Any suggestions or plans will be greatly appreciated.

We always just hooked the hoses up to the truck, bled out the air and cranked 'em up to pressure for 5 min. Just make sure you only test the LDH at 200 psi, not 300..... Great way to make ponies!

What kind of pump are you using? Can you use a regular preassure washer pump?

This pump was ordered out of a catalog and is listed as a hydrostatic testing pump, it however didn't really look and different that the pump on our pressure washer. I think the pressure washer pump would work with the appropriate regulating device...
