Haven't got a clue.. but then again, most departments just pick a mascot and run with it! For example, the "Road Runner" from the cartoon was originally developed by the Fuquay-Varina, NC Fire Department as the "Fire Runner." The TV network had to get permission to use the "Fire Runner" in the cartoon, thus creating the "Road Runner." Beep! Beep!

    I've got some..

Well, first of all, my company: Janvier. It's French for January, but here it's pronounced Jan-Veer. We're always getting asked which is the right way to say it.

    Others:

    - Friendship
    - Goodwill
    - Greenfields
    - Lawns
    - Harmony
    - New Sharon

And that's all I got.. they're all from Gloucester County in South Jersey.

I was on a department in South Carolina in a town called Goose Creek. Now I was on Goose Creek Rural....not to be confused with Goose Creek City. Hard to believe a city with the name of Goose Creek is so big is has a Incorporated area department and a unincorporated area dept. (We referred to the place as Duck Pond)
