I have a 2006 Ford F-350. I have 2 Blue Whelen Strobes in the grille. I have a double blue whelen dashmiser on the dash. . And on the visor a double blue whelen talon. All are hard wired, controlled by a switch box inside the cab. I have 1 Whelen Cadet on the roof for 360 degree warning.

Listen, Junior, you better check your attitude if you want some respect around here. I'm suprised hwoods didn't bust your *** for talking like that. If you think that we aren't going to talk trash just because you said not to, then your in for a big suprise. Otherwise, welcome to the forums.

Try pouring alcohol on the dash and lighting it. It usually works for me

Something I like to do is to drill a hole in my tailpipe and insert a spark plug wired on a switch. That way, when I go to pass someone enroute, I can flip the switch, watch the flames roll out, and notify the other person that I'm going to a fire.

Yo Smoke, can you please pimp jrengine70 's ride?

I think with a little work and a few lights, it would be able to be registered as a grade A emergency vehicle in Texas.

I hope I don't offend anybody by this, but out of all the light makers, TOMAR has to the worst.

    PumpOperator,

Just for the record, I don't hate lights. I have one blue light on my dash and I don't even use it if I don't need to. I do however find it NECESSARY to bust on anyone who is so OVERLY concerned about lights when they should be focusing on TRAINING

I never said you did hate lights. I dont hate them either. I have some blue lights, I use them only when needed. I dont abuse the privelage. I AGREE 100% that training is more important!!!!!

I don't think anyone on here has ever said it better! Having lights is a privledge, not a right. Too many times I see guys get on and the first thing they do is show up to a call looking like the cat tipped over the Christmas tree.

    PumpOperator,

Sorry if I sounded defensive. Keep that attitude about not abusing the lights. Time for me to go to bed I'm reading things that aren't there

    Hey, it happens.

Remember to keep your priorities in order: Training, Listening to experienced firefighters, equipment maintenance, being a good role model, doing your fair share of work around the station, just to name a few.
