Dear Colleagues,

The international Programme Committee are now calling for papers to the 11th Fire and Materials conference to be held in San Francisco next January. This major international forum on fire performance of materials and products focuses up-to-date information on fire issues, including new materials, applications, assessment techniques and requirements.

The Programme Committee has targeted specific areas for presentation and invites papers on the following:
-- Fires in Building
-- Cables and other Electro-technical Applications
-- Furniture and Furnishings
-- Flame Retardants and new FR Applications
-- Fire Investigation / Forensic Fire Science
-- Wildland fires and the Built Environment Interface
-- Fire Dynamics
-- Transportation
-- New applications of materials for enhanced fire safety.

As the Programme Committee member with the responsibility for the Fire Investigation / Forensic Fire Science section, I especially wish to solicit good quality papers in this topic area!

A 250 word abstract for review should be submitted by July 31st, 2006.

Authors will be advised of acceptance by Friday September 1, 2006.

A final version of the paper is required by Friday December 15, 2006, this will be published in the bound set of conference proceedings.
