About a year ago, I applied for the Philadelphia Fire Dept. I was accepted and began my Paramedic/firefighter training.Out of the blue, my grandmother who rasied me from the age of 2 had passed away. This had really messed with my mind to the point that I neeed to RESIGN. To make a long story short, I waited a year to reapply and there was some kind of mistake. as I was told by the PFD officals. So now its 2 years later and I thought it would be straightened out. Well the Commissioner Says he will not even look into the matter. I don't know what to do.

We have medics and we have firefighters. Which did you apply for? The medic position is now hiring should that be the one.Just another one of the 99%ers looking up.
