The trucks on my current department are traditional red, but the department I came from used white with a blue stripe. It was unusual, but I think they look sharp.

I ride on GREEN MACHINES! Lime green with white reflective striping and gold leaf writing.

One other company in my department uses red with white striping and the third company uses Chicago style black on red.

Then there is the 1976 Chevy Pickup that is orange...
    ...
and the 1979 GMC rescue that is white over orange

Red x3 with one Blue and Green Machine (old 79).

As has been discussed on these forums at length, any truck other than a red one is completely incapable of putting out a fire.

The city where I live has red trucks and one puke green which is at the dpw but the city where I am a fire explorer the trucks are high-lighter yellow. The other 2 girls on the explorer post and I decided to make out own fire department when we're firefighters and design our own line of gear for woman lol. The trucks will be light blue with pink and purple reflective tape. Our gear will be light purple with blue and pink reflective tape and the gear will be tailored to fit a girls body type not the stupid lumpy stuff you guys get lol.

Our trucks were dark red but we found we like white over yellow better. I have a county dirt roads and the yellow hides the dirt better and actually shows up brighter when looking through the trees around corners so its safer for our situtation.
