Scenarios; what you know about the city, agency, being a firefighter; a lot of stuff regarding basics and entry level type job questions. Make sure to wear that suit and shave.

Speaking of coming up interviews did anyone get something back from Austin yet regarding the next step in the process?

There will be alot of questions. The 1st piece of advice is going to be shake their hands and make eye contact with each and every one of them as soon as you walk in the room. Dont sit until told to do so, just stand there. Shake their hands before you leave also. They will prob ask you at the end if there is anything that you would like to add. Yes make something up keep their attention. When you are talking to one individual about a question direct it to everyone because they are all grading you. Think about your best qualities and your worst ones. Why do you want to be a firefighter with this city? would you change any decisions you have ever made? what are your goals? 1 year and 5 year? if you caught a off duty firefighter smoking pot what would you do? If a female was cooking on your shift and it tasted like sh## what would you do? If you saw a officer put money in his pocket of someone elses?

    hope this helps
    best of luck
