Nope No BALLS in my sauce! Unless you count the amount of garlic and other spices...... Sometimes the sauce gets a bit hotter than it needs to be - still has good flavour though.

Just dont ask for a recipe, cuz I dont ever get it the same twice.

I dunno. I dont think I want spaghetti tonight. I'm thinking something along the lines of chicken cordon bleu, fresh buttered asparagus, garlic and herb twice baked potatoes, with some apple pie for dessert.

I was thinking shrimp tonight, sauteed with garlic and shallots, fresh ginger, fresh herbs, squeeze some lemon juice over it, add a little champagne wine vinegar to finalize the sauce, reduce it down, serve said shrimp over a bed of fennel and endive, drizzle with sauce... pour a glass of a nice Napa Valley Beringer.....EAT.

    will that do??

Endive is a herb of sorts. BTW... 'skeddi' turned out great. Again as previously warned, is a bit hotter than planned, but still good.

However, the shrimp sounds YUUUMMMMYY. Almost makes my 'skeddi pale in comparison.

As for the query on weather? Is absolutely fabulous here. Again, going to be very warm for my afternoon run later today. Gotta love summer weather, while jogging through the National Mall......................

endive is in the lettace family. The heads are about 3-4" long, very pale almost white leaves. It is very good raw or cooked. I like it both ways. I will also slice it up and saute it with seafood or chicken and it adds good flavor. I like to mix it with thinly sliced fennel as the flavors go well together and I added some frisee and raddiccho . You need to walk down the lettace aisle and check out the wonderful greens there.

Dinner was very good last night (except I had no one to share it with).
