Firefighter buff here.

I'm not a firefighter or a dispatcher like I said when I registered. I'm a 39 year old woman from California who just wants to tell all of you that your my heroes. I have been reading transcripts from 911 and listening to tapes I'm so glad that I did, because before that when someone asked me "who do you admire, who is your hero?" I'd have to make up an answer because I really didn't have one. I admire all the men and women whose jobs are saving others.

A lot of people experienced loss that day, but a lot of people like me gained so much that they didn't have before.

Thanks for the comments. Its always great to hear that. Im sure I can speak for all Firefighters that we absolutly love what we do and love to hear from people who appreciate us. Thanks again.
