I'm currently in the market for a Jon boat. I'm wanting something that can be used for fishing/hunting/cruising (in that order!). I'm probably leaning towards a 20' Center Console. I would say something similar to this. Any ideas about good brands? Obviously I don't want a POS, and I'm not a cheap ***.. I'll shell out the extra cash for QUALITY!
Any ideas.. I'm not stuck on 20' (I could go bigger...! or smaller!)

Do it because you love it, not because you love being seen doing it.

Definition of a boat:
"A hole in the water, you pour money into."

FTM, which beautiful lake in NC are you gonna enjoy it on? By the way, have you checked the Carolina Bargain Trader?

KEEPBACK.. take your pick! But mainly.. Norman, High Rock, Badin, Wylie, Jordan, Fontana. If you can't tell, I've got friends all over. Out of that list, Norman and Wylie would be the closest. Then again, a friend has a farm in Surry Co. which I go to often and another has a farm in Randolph Co. (Asheboro area), so really I guess I'll get to enjoy many of NC's fine Lakes. Another plus to owning a "hole in the water!"

If your ever up around the north eastern side of the state, Kerr and Gaston are great, and Hyco is the best lake for watersports in the winter time because its heated.

I know some people from the Vance Co. area that always go to Kerr. I haven't been... yet!
Right now I'm probably considering something from G3, Seaark, Alumacraft.. any other ideas for a center console jon boat?
Carolina Bargain didn't offer too much, I'm also going to try Boat Trader.Do it because you love it, not because you love being seen doing it.

I'm originally from Hennason. We usually spend all summer at the lake. Does Key West and Grady White make something that small? You could try Overby's Marine out of Henderson, they might could help you out.
