Default Man Delivers Pizzas, Corpses In Same Vehicle

I know this probably belongs in the wierd but true thread, but I think it deserves it's own.

Man Delivers Pizzas, Corpses In Same Vehicle
Driver No Longer Has Either Job

FEASTERVILLE, Pa. -- A pizza deliveryman stopped by police told officers that he was delivering pizzas in the same station wagon he used to ferry bodies for a mortuary transport service.

Police said 24-year-old William Bethel Jr. was stopped last Friday in suburban Philadelphia driving a station wagon with an expired inspection certificate. While checking the vehicle, police noticed a stretcher in the rear and asked what purpose it served.

Police said Bethel told them that although he was delivering pizzas for a major pizza chain, he also "transports deceased bodies in the same vehicle." The car was impounded and Bethel was cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license and without a certificate of inspection.

Bethel said it was the first time the vehicle had been used for both purposes. He said he had been called to fill in at the restaurant, and because his car was in the shop, he had taken the wagon. The car owner said he was fired and the restaurant manager said he resigned.

County and state health officials said there is no law against delivering a body and food in the same vehicle.

Have you ever seen the vehicles some pizza delivery slobs drive? Dad bodies would hardly surprise me, in fact dead anything wouldn't surprise me.
Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

I'd rather have my pizza delivered in a Hearse then to have my body delivered by Pappa Johns.

I guess I wouldnt be so grossed out if I never even knew about it, like if the pizza guy just gave me my pizza and I never found out then no harm no foul.

    Cool Exceptional ingenuity

I reckon the guy is just showing good ol' American entrepreneurial skills.Combining two jobs with one vehicle-could even go for drain cleaning kit in the coffin also and make it a third-way to go!

At least he did not have his Pit bull in there--that would be really unhygienic, not only that the dog may eat the Pizza--no way can the corpse chomp the Pepperoni Special.

I see a similarity to the old "Thermos" mystery here.

How does he keep the hot stuff hot, and cold stiffs cold?

    How does it know?
