    Default Building construction books question

    What are some good books out there (if any) on building constuction as it relates to the fire service?

    Building Construction for the Fire Service by the late Francis Brannigan is argueably the best book. You could buy 3-4 different books, but I'd re-read this one 3-4 times before even looking at another.

    If you don't know anything about building construction at all, get a good DIY or vocational school textbook on general construction principles. After that, get Brannigan's book.

    Not if the harbor is Mayport Naval Station and a hurricane is coming...
