Did anybody else notice that it took this guy only 5 days to get rid of all the drunks, druggies, and a corrupt chief in his department? Wow, this guy must be good.

My dream and I hope you don't find this too crazy is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

    LOL

I swear, I don't even watch TV anymore (except Rescue Me, of course) This is just to damn entertaining. Has shock value risen in the forums lately or has it always been this good?

In my opinion, that would be a FAT chance.
You are going to need years of training, several courses in management, conflict resolution, leadership, effective communication, grammar, spelling and please read "How to make friends and influence people".
And then, don't use a public message board to bitch about kids who don't play nice.
You have already blown your first impression.
Congrats on turning your department around, though.

Not a troll, but a future chief if he has his way.
    Yeah; 5 days.
He should be a crime fighter.

Minimum manning will go down with SUPER WHACKER riding the rig.
While AnyTown sleeps, SUPER WHACKER will be on call at the fire station, ferreting out the underachievers, drunks and addicts.
