Hey go to the biggest bank you have in town and set up an account for donations. Then anyone can go into any branch of that bank and deposit into the account and others can make checks payable to the account and send them via mail to the bank. You get way more response than just asking people to mail money to your house. Also, Post a pic and tell us a little bit about whats wrong etc. I hope hes doing well and ill look for an update.

Brother go to your local radio station and tell them a firefighter is in need, then go to any place that has music and BBQ and ask them if they would support a pig roast or BBQ dinner w/ beer party. Advertise over the radio and talk to the locals. This is what we do here. Also get a semi popular muscian to hold a concert and donate the money. We just had one. There are alot of ways to raise money. Check our fund raising ideas and get busy. If it is legit people will help. Your post next store kinda give a few red flags but I can't help wanting to help a brother in need. So there, that's my advice.
