I thought that St Augustine Fl was the oldest city in North America,being founded by the Spanish in the 1400s.But I learned that from a leading Petty Officer from there right at eval time so he could have hadan undue influence on my thinking at the time.

Visited Grand Banks once on a research boat I was on, beautiful place, nice people. Spent a week sailing in one of the fjords (Bay D'Espare ??), amazing scenery, waterfalls everywhere. We climbed the one behind me in the pic.
