    Default Point System / Bylaw/SOP

Our dept is in the process of updating our bylaws, followed by our SOP/SOGs.

We are looking to somehow include a point system (not for any type of reimburment at this time) to make it easier for officer elections/cutting dead wood etc.

I'd be interested in hearing from any depts that have something in place already.

To vote: 25% of fire calls, 50% of meetings, 50% of drills. Percentages for the year are done the month before elections.

We have a point system for our POC
Points are given for runs, meetings and trainings attended the following is how points are awarded

    non- certified 1 point
    FFII 2 points
    FFIII 3 Points

we have sign up sheets for every fire call, training and meeting

now this is not a small task for our Dept because we have 7 Stations and about 70 fire fighters, but it works very well...at the end of the year you can see who your core is
