Hey everyone- anyone here have experience with DRCOG? I have already taken the test, and passed, but I wanted to know what kind of scores the departments pulling from the list really look for, or if they take other things into consideration? Some people tell me youre gonna need in the 90s if youre an EMT just to be looked at, others tell me just passing is fine if you meet the other requirements. So, anyone here have any experience with DRCOG and the departments involved theyd like to share? Thanks everyone!

Although a score in the 90s may help it is not a requirement. Every department is different as to what score is good enough. Most departments dont require a score of 90+ that I know of. I do know that if you didn't get at least a 75 your not in good shape. For all the people that take that test very few are hired. North Metro and Westminster have been hiring the most the last few years. Longmont and North Washington are the only other Depts. that have hired off the COG in that same time period. As far as I have head anyway.
