    Default Tennessee roll over

Actual quotes from the article on the front page of firehouse.com:

People who saw it didn't know what to think. "I heard a loud, loud, loud noise. Sound some big atomic bomb explode. I thought we done have a tornado,” said Joann Bennett.

"It sounded like a tornado or a big old train wreck. I live two houses down come out, and it was a heck of a wreck,” said another witness, Tim Gentry.

These quotes are why we northerners stereotype southerners

I wonder if/when person #1 actually "heard" an atomic bomb explode? Was she a "survivor"?

yeah my dad lived in tennessee for a long time and he loved it, but you gotta admit that those quotes are pretty bad. Unrelated but do southerners have yankee jokes? I have been to kentucky but it was Louisville and i only visited the bat factory.

What kind of job is a "carpetbagger"? That just can not be a very exciting job no matter how you try to gloss it over:

girl to guy: "So what do you do for a living?"

guy: "Well Ma'm, I am a bagger of carpets. I bag carpets for a living. My name is Cameron.... Cameron Carpetbagger."

Three scariest things a Southern Cop can see

    1. Man with a gun
    2. Woman with a knife
    3. Yankee with a U-Haul heading South
