Default How can you get another Dept FDID number?

My dept responded on a mutual aid call last week. I am trying to do the report and the recieving dept doesn't know its FDID number for NFIRs report.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know about your state, but our state's Divison of Fire Safety has a website that has a list of all the departments registered with them. It includes the FDID numbers on them. Might be worth a try. Or you could give them a call and ask.

I hate that. I am always having to call and pry incident numbers out of people. I have been known to make them up. Fortunately a private site here in KY posted all the FDID's a few years ago and I made up a list. In your case I'd contact your state's NFIRS administrator and see if he or she can pull it up for you.

Our state Fire Marshall's office website has all of our numbers on it.

If you are not sure who to contact about NFIRS in your state, you can go to the following site on USFA:

    http://www.usfa.fema.gov/pocs/

This has POC's for each state. The last one on the list is the POC for NFIRS.
