FDNY Battalion Chief John Salka, Jr. will be in Orrville, Ohio on Friday, June 9th to present the training program: "Rapid Intervention Academy - Saving Our Own". Anyone interested in attending is welcome!
The program will be conducted at in the Community Room at Maibach Ford, 1780, North Main Street, Orrville, Ohio 44667. The program will start at 1800 hours and will run through 2200 hours. Food and beverage will be provided.
The cost is $25.00 per person, payable to the Orrville Firefighters Association. Payment can be made at the door or in advance to Orrville Firefighters Association, P.O. Box 144, Orrville, Ohio 44667.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best! Chief Salka is an instructor at numerous learing centers including: the Orange County, NY Fire Training Center; New York State Academy of Fire Science, and FDNY Fire Academy. In addition Chief Salka presents firefighter survival training and other fire and rescue courses throughout the country.

Then register for the Wayne County Regional Fire School RIT Class in September. Part of the purpose in bringing Salka and company to Orrville was to better prepare the instructors for the class that they will be doing at the Fire School. Go to www.wcfra.com and click on the Fire School link. You can register online.
