I'm going to take the DRCOG written test in July. I know the test was created by a company called CWH Select Solutions. In researching the test, I have read that the test looks for personality traits found to be common in firefighters. This is done with situational questions. There are also cognative skills, math, and reading comprehension questions.
My question is for those of you who have taken the DRCOG (or CWH test). Is there a written test study book that might be helpful in preparing for this test? Or will my test score just reflect if I'm a good candidate (based on the parameters of the test)? The latter would mean that no studying will prepare me and that I just have to show and be myself.
Any input from those who have take this test is appreciated.
