Joe "Snowman" Snow died trying to save some teens trapped at a dam.Snowman was a gr8 medic and was a excellent diver and dive instructor. He was also a member of the swift water rescue team.It is so hard to believe that the water he loved took his life. My prayers go out to his family and his loving children. Joe you will be very sadly missed.I had the pleasure of working side by side with you and can't fathom this happening. You were a great medic, diver and most of all a great friend to all who knew you. My prayersare with the famioly in this trying time.May god be with you and your family.

Joe was indeed a great guy. He helped teach the extrication class I took a couple of years ago. I never got to work with him on a scene, as we were on different shifts, but you could tell just by the way he acted, and they way he conducted himself around others that he was a very caring guy, the kind that would do anything for you.
RIP Joe Snow, and may your family be in our prayers.
