I thought that was perfect when they showed the memorial at 10/10 and ground zero. Very tasteful and insightful. Good stuff. Great timing. Made my heart feel better.

The fire was a shocker and a good end to the last episode.

    Default wow

    seriously
I don't even know what to say about the last episode. It was pretty damn good but at the same time a very abrupt ending. Anyone else feel that way.

that was a terrible way to end the season. how can you go from the best episode to the worst one. sure their was going to be a cliff hanger, but the rest of it sucked except the part about the wall.

Chatter on the FX website, confirms that there WILL be a 4th season.

Now Who thinks Sheila dies in the fire?

Will they force Pechere ( spelling ?) into early retirement, with all the (lack of) respect?

Will Ken ( lou) ever get over his fear of docks? ( best scene of the night)

Will Tommy & Janet move in together?

    How about Cheif Riley?

Was the part about the 9/11 tribute true? The part about the brothers able to put their own message to the fallen brothers on the back of the memorial?

It said SEASON finale, not SERIES finale...I'm pretty sure if this was the end of the line they would have siad so, but then again they did cancel that show "Reunion" last year and left everyone hanging on what happened.

I have a funny feeling sheila will die....

Pechere will not be forced into early retirement.

Ken gave up the boating industry so he is staying at the house.

Tommy and Janet will just be friends and eventually get back together but I think the big thing in the next season will be the baby.

chief riley will be fine and come back to work soon

I was saying that Shiela was probably gonna end up dead during the show, but I think she'll survive. It might be a big reality check for her. I dont think Tommy should get back with Janet, she doesn't deserve it. I saw that fire coming, a way out of the house that they wont be living in (insurance).

Overall I think the show sucked for a finale, but if you look at the bright side, it doesn't make you really wait as much as some other shows for the next season. Not like a major cliff hanger, since we all know Tommy will survive, and his only chance is the rescuer which is sheila, so she has to make it out. But we'll see.

If memory serves me correctly, YES. The FDNY guys wrote on the back of the panels before they secured them to the wall.

Looking at the pictures from the FDNY 10/10 house website, I don't think that the Rescue Me scene was filmed at the actual site. The wall looked different than the pictures I have seen. If I remember correctly, the Rescue Me characters stood looking at the wall and then turned to their right to walk back to their ladder that was parked. In the show Ground Zero was behind their rig. If you look at the pictures on the 10/10 website, I believe Ground Zero should have been in FRONT of their rig. Anyone else notice this? Any FDNY members that could shed some light on this?

Go to the FDNY 10/10 website and check it out. Choose interactive memorial.

No, sorry. Although, when I was a Senior in High School I thought about becoming a Military Firefighter.

Nellis is a really nice base, too bad it's in Las Vegas. (I really hate this town. lol ) Thank you for serving our country, I appreciate what you do. Also, good luck in your quest of becoming a Firefighter.

I was cracking up during that scene, especially when some guy walked by as Lou was crawling. I thought that he was going to end up in the water. lol

It was nice seeing the memorial and then ground zero afterwards. I'm not sure if I think that Sheila will die in the fire or not. But I do think that this show needs less Sheila and more Uncle Teddy.

NYSmokey, I beleive you are right. I have not been up there in 3 or 4 years, but I do remember the station nearest ground zero being directly across the street. It would be to the right of the screen and at the begining of the steps to the walk way that they showed while zooming out to show ground zero. Probably not the best description of what I am trying to say, so hopefully you get the point. As to wether or not that is the actual wall, I can not remember at all. To be quite honest I was more disguisted with the people that were peddling mercahndise out side of the site. Very unfortunate that I remeber those idiots more than I do some parts of the site.

    Thumbs up Season Finale!

    Ok guys and gals....

Sheila is C-R-A-Z-Y. Holy crap! I didn't get to see it until friday night and haven't set down in front of the 'puter' until this morning. I agree with Vegasfyrgirl, Uncle Teddy is great!

Well, now we have to wait until next summer. Bummer.

Your right there was a stryker cot shown in the show, for those who missed it you can see it at http:\\www.fxnetworks.com/rescueme then click on videos and then to episode 13 "Beached". I missed the entire show this summer, but was able to follow the storyline at fx's website.

Anyone reminded of the first (I think) episode of the season...when Tommy had the dream about his apartment being on fire...when the house was on fire? Coincidence?
