    Default FDNY open competitive for dec. 06

    I have a question about the added 5 pts for veterans and residents of NYC. Is it just five points added to your score or is it like Yonkers where you get the additional five points added on to your score but they hire from the city residency list first?

    its added to the score of your written exam.

    Its added to your total score. For example if you score was 96.514 without any points and you had vetrans which is 5 points your Final adjusted score is 101.514. They just add the five points to your final score.
