Thumbs up Niagara Falls Air Base website

    Hey all,

Myself and a few firefighters here have put together an unofficial site for base our fire dept.

    http://nfabfirerescue.pbwiki.com

Stop in and visit, check it out. We are all continuously working on it, as we all have our own areas to work on.

We are gettin a lot of flak from management, with some of the stuff we have on there, but currently we're working with them, to make them happy.

    Be safe!!

Next time he gives you some flak, remind him to obtain permission before he crosses an active.

    Looks good.

You might check with your PAO if you're having grief about the site. In the Army, PAO has somebody who does content management for official sites.

    Default Ok'd with Public Affairs

Thx, I did go thru our PA office, and they 'sanitized' the site. I did have to make some corrections and deletions, but nothing major. They really seemed enthusiastic over this as well. We do have a public site, or well, 'Official' site, but it's one page with a small paragraph. Not really much of anything. I'm almost embarrassed to put the link for it on my site. Typical gov't red tape I guess. Anyways, they don't give me many problems approving stuff to go on it.

My apologies for not replying sooner. Since I've started our unofficial site, neighboring depts have asked me to do their's as well. So I've been quite busy.

    Thanks again,

    Crash

    Crashcrewmarine-

I live in Lewiston and I'm very interested in the airbase dept. I was given the number for the fire department. Should I call there and inquire about the hiring requirements?
