A DeKalb County firefighter stricken with a heart attack in May died Tuesday night at Emory University Hospital.
Funeral services are pending for Firefighter III Bill Craddock, 36, who suffered a massive heart attack at the scene of a working structure fire.

The Gulfport Fire Department wants to extend our condolences to his family, friends, and department. Bill volunteered is time and served with us during the after math of Hurricane Katrina. After ridding on the engine while he drove in an unfamiliar City with no power or traffic lights I knew were he got his name “Wild Bill”. We are extremely grateful for his sacrifices while serving with us. His family is in our prayers.
