Does anyone know how to go about broadcasting your departments frequency over the internet via a link on their web page? What is needed and how is it done? Our department is thinking about doing it. Any help would be appreciated.
As far as THECHOOLS goes, if not one person would respond to their topics, no matter how stupid the comment, they would have no reason to write and stir the pot. They do it for the reaction. Everytime somebody responds, especially negatively, they win.

This has been discussed many times in the Forums at Radio Reference. Go to http://www.radioreference.com/forums/ and do a search. You should find lots of answers.Steve

Easiest way I've found is using windows media encoder. I recomend a dedicated computer.

I use Simplecast for a feed I provide for a site, it was very easy to set up and runs in the background. You can use your computer and dont even know its there.
