Default Need a little help!!! (Search oriented)

I need some help. I am the Assistant Chief and Training Officer of a small volunteer department in SC. Recently we responded to a neighboring department for mutual aid for a structure fire. While there, my personnel initiated a search with the knowledge that one occupant, an 89 yo male, had already been extricated from the residence. I was on the search team and made the decision to stop the search until the fire conditions could be tamed a little. That being said and done, there was a search performed after the fact (more of a body retrieval if there was anything found). One week later there was a body found in the residence. I'm looking for any training materials that anyone can recommend would be appreciated.
We are sure that the body was not there while we were searching, but I have two brand new firefighters who are a little nervous about the whole situation.

    Thanks

You might get a better response in the Firefighter's Forum.

So basically are you wanting to get material to teach them search patterns/techniques? Has it been proven that the body found was not in the structure at the time of the fire? If that has not been proven, I would be a little nervous as well.
Do it because you love it, not because you love being seen doing it.

The Sheriff's Office says they think the body was there, but myself and my more experienced people know that it wasn't. We're a little concerned about one of our newer people, since this was the first actual search that he had been a part of. He's second guessing himself.
