...in full fire kit and BA??!!
The annual UK Sport Relief Mile takes place in two weeks time on July 15th. This worthy cause raises monies for charities both at home and around the world. The aim this year is to get 60'000'000 people in the United Kingdom to run 1 mile each on the day.
Almost 10000 people will sprint, run, jog and walk their way around the course in the City of Newcastle upon Tyne in two Saturdays time. Running, (or staggering), alongside them will be myself and 5 of my watch who are doing the event in full f/f kit and with a BA set on our backs!! We're not going under air as we may need it for the finish! We're aiming to raise a few hundred pounds, and probably loose some at the same time for this worthy cause.
I'll post some pics of the blisters afterwards. We must be mad. Its 30 degrees out!!
