    Default Goodbye Stevie Y

Allthough I dislike the Detroit Red Wing organization, I have always liked Steve Yserman. Stevie Y announced his retirement today and for us hockey fans this is bittersweet. We are losing one of the classiest guys ever to lace on skates but it is always good to see a guy go out at the top of his game and not embarass himself by staying to long.

Thanks Steve for many years of class hockey.

Amen to that mano.....A true class act in the game of hockey...
If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?

I heard the news this morning, too.

A definite loss that will be felt throughout the hockey world, not just in Detroit.

I'll echo what my fellow Canadians said! CLASS ACT all the way!

I didn't hear if he was staying with the Red Wing organization .... has he said what he's going to do?

We love ya, Stevie Y, enjoy your retirement!

The Captain has been told that he will always have a place within the organization if he desires it. What position he'll hold is still unkown.
