    Default Sparky the Firedog

Do any departments around here currently use a Sparky the Firedog Costume? Ours was custom made and has been well used and is starting to show some signs of wear. Does anyone know where you can get one?

Here's a shot of myself in our current one to give you an idea what ours looks like:

The "official" Sparky costume is only available through the NFPA and is around $1200 dollars.

You don't happen to have a link or an image do you? I believe we payed about 700.00 for this one. Two local banks were nice enough to help cover the costs of a fire safety house, the suit, and some other miscellaneous items in the past.

Yes the rigs are green. Can't lose a green fire engine in a parade, right?

Of course they're real. They're running the NJ government.
