I am a FF/Paramedic with 4-1/2 yrs on in South Florida. I am past the idea stage and I am looking hard to get on with a department in NC. The catch is I am blind in my right eye, and have been since I was 13mths old from spinal meningitis. Nothing has slowed me down i.e. played highschool football, driving, I am currently 3rd out of 15 own the drivers list for promotion in my dept. Do any of y'all in NC see this as being a problem for me getting hired on a dept.
Thank you for you time.

If interested in Charlotte FD, e-mail the Recruitment Office and tell them your situation.
Do it because you love it, not because you love being seen doing it.
