How do they verifiy your address when you get hired in NJ? Is it solely done through DMV? Does the department do it, or do they let you bring proof of residence? I live where I want to work, and put the correct code down for the application. I live in Hoboken and have for about 6 years. But my license still has a Florham Park address simply because I never changed it. I have PSE&G bills, Cable bill, and apartment insurance paperwork all with my name on it, for the Hoboken address. Is this okay, or is it going to be a problem because of the license address?
Thanks

You might seriously consider getting your license updated. Aside from the legal issues (having to change it within 30 days of moving) it could easily screw you over for the job.

NJ most likely will not check your info unless they get tipped off. However the town you are applying for will. You better have everything in line. If they want someone else they will go through the effort to find out everything about you just to disqualifiy you. That means asking your nieghbors if you realy live there, watching to see if you live there. Make sure all of your accounts are in order, including DL which they will disqualifiy you for. Many people take this very serious because this is all they ever wanted, believe me they will dime you out in a second to get what they want.
