I am posting this for pfd109nfd107....... For some reason he is unable to post a new thread in the forums and is awaiting help from the WT........
The City of Perrysburg is looking at building a new fire station. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2008. The committee is looking to take a few road trips to check out new stations in the area. If you know of any stations built in the last five years in Ohio, Indiana or Michigan post them here. Thanks!!

full time of vollie?
I'm not sure if you're looking for a full time dept. or a vol. dept but hope this helps. I can't remember exactly when they built it, but Minerva, OH built a new station a few years ago that is a very nice station. It might be worth checking out.

Lots in Columbus
There are a lot of new stations in or around Columbus.
A few that come to mind are in Gahanna (Mifflin Township), Jefferson Township and West Licking are all within about 10 miles of each other and they are all new. West Licking is a great station! (These are all on the East end of Columbus)

Greentown Volunteer Fire Department in Stark County Ohio. Very nice. They're staffed with 3 part-timers 24/7 supplemented with call-back personnel. 4 drive-thru bays, nice kitchen area/day room, male and female bunk rooms, weight and locker rooms, large training room, hose tower, compressor room, and offices. About a 2 1/2 hour drive from NW Ohio. Chief Vince Harris (330)499-2145.

Central Fire District in Wayne County (Smithville) Ohio has a new #2 Station that is on SR-3 north of Wooster (in the area formely known as Madisonburg). While you are in the area, the Apple Creek Fire Department has a recent steel construction station that is worth a look. It is located on Apple Creek Road north of US-250. On down the road on US-250 is Mt. Eaton/Paint Twp. with a newer station and my department, Orrville, put an addition onto our Station #2 on N. Crown Hill Road in Orrville not too long ago.

I have been there and if you can, I would really recommend checking it out.Just because it's called a throw bag, doesn't mean you throw the whole bag... you're supposed to hold onto the rope.
