So I was driving back to STL from KC and I needed to take a break , so i saw a sign saying that there was a MO FF memorial, so i checked it out
has anyone else been there?
It is actually very nice and I am suprised that I havn't heard of it else where (not saying on the forum, but within the FF community)
I really like the statue of the FF neiling down...wow

I've never been to it mostly because I have no clue where it's at.

Kingdom City, its a bit east of Columbia on I-70. It really is quite the deal. If you ever get up that way, I recommend going. I saw it when I was staying in a hotel just south of the memorial. Saw the flags and walls lit up one night and swung by to see what exactly it was.

This memorial was funded through donations to the Fire Fighters Association fo Missouri (www.ffam.org). The statue that is on the memorial is actually the second one that was created for it. The first was in N.Y. on Sept 11, 2001 awaiting delivery to Missouri. Immediately after the devastation it was donated to N.Y. and we awaited a new one (without hesitation) to be delivered for the MO. memorial.
