I could send you pics of the extrication equipment that we were awarded via the CEDAP grant. Of course, all I have seen are pictures too. Delivery for us is not until November.

Hey, 7160, I don't know what's scarier, the tools or that big feller holding the spreader.

I'll be glad as a frog in a fly convention to post some pictures-when we get the thing. On a six month extension right now, our vendor went T.U. and that slowed things down a bit. Waiting for a Ferrara Intruder Two, CAFS to the crosslays and jumpline, Class A to one rear duece and a half, 8 K generator, 3 K lighttower, On Spots, 12 volt tele-lights and brow light, 1500/750. Replaces two smaller Grummans from the early eighties. New tools, handlights and hose load. Treadbrite hosebed cover and through the tank ladder, suction tube and pole storage. Big step up for a little outfit like us. We wouldn't have a chance at it without AFGP.

Dellroy, what type apparatus is that. Is it considered a Mini pumper, pumper or a rescue? I really like the looks of it in the pics. Post a little more info. Thanks

It is a quick attack / mini-pumper. It's actually replacing our brush unit and an older front mount pumper that we have. It's going to be very busy when we get it in service. We're going to run our first responders out of it as well.
We'll run it first out on first responder, grass fires, and anything else that we no could be tight for our bigger engines. (We're pretty rural so we have some bridges, etc that have pretty drastic weight reductions in the winter months.) Structure fires it will mostly run the fill site unless we send it to the scene to utilize the foam.
Let me know what else you would like to know about the truck. I have tons of other pictures if you want to see anything else about it.

Here it is, pictures from about 2 weeks ago, sitting at Danko still. We will be picking up in a week or so.

IH 4400 Chassis, 2000 gallon tank, diesel booster pump.

    Total cost was around $160,000

    Default How much

Mid $300,000 range. We had a great fundraiser which helped. The grant was $225,000. Inside the cab on the back wall is a plaque that we used to raise funds. For $100 they got a small plate on it. It went up in increments of $100, $250, $500, and $1000. Business owners were most of the big ones. The plaque measures 4 foot by 2 foot.

Attack6, I would love to see that plaque. We have thought about doing something simular for our truck. Could you send out a picture?
