O.K so we got our grant submitted, got our 10q's, got our 1199a updated, submitted and email recieved that it is in their system, Do I just have to wait now? I know it may be a dumb question but this is only our second attempt for a grant...the first was immediate no. Thanks for helping out a newbie to the grant world.

If you've already done all of that, I'd be surprised if you're not in the first round of awards, purportedly scheduled for 10/6.

My experience has been that there can be a significant gap between 1199a and 10q's, but once you've gotten both it is not very long.

A few fine points...
1. It's really AFD2181's thread, i just got volunteered for admin duties.
...and...
B. If we incorporate as a 501(c)3 the possibilities are limitless. Much more funding flexibility than being a quasi-governmental agency.

I am in the same boat, Brother, and it sure is agonizing. Our 1199 (9/20...had to do it twice) and 10q (9/8) have been submitted, and now we sit and wait....
