My dream and I hope you don't find this too crazy is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

    Possibly, but the Norman Greenbaum version is the "classic" version....the one most folks have heard on the radio and late night "Best of the 60's CD Collection" infomercials...

    For me, I would go with "Great Balls of Fire" - Jerry Lee Lewis

    There was also a song called "Fire" but I can't remember who does it but it starts off, "I am the god of hell fire and I bring you......Fire" followed by a bunch of da da da da's, great lyrics don't you think.

    "The Show Must Go On" by Three Dog Night.
    I am told and may be wrong on this but if the house band at a circus is playing that,something is wrong.
    It might be baaaaaad wrong and y'all will be the lead story on the 10 o'clock news or it could be that the trapeze girl had a "wardrobe malfunction" and needs time to change.
    So don't immediately rush the exits cause everyone else will piling that way too.Look around and see how excited the crew is and take your cues from that.You've already looked for alternate exits,anyway.

    Von Bondies = C'mon C'mon
    but that fits bcz of Rescue Me. i don't know if you want to use the song they use. but then again, you may want that effect.

    Soil = Pride
    another great song. i saw this one on Kentland's video, and had to get the song. it's a great pumping song.

    Nickleback = Animals
    this is the song i used in the little video/slideshow i made for my department. i like the way the song flows. here's the youtube link: see what you think.

    Not sure if you want instrumental music, but here are two awesome songs:

    Freedom by Michael W Smith
    or
    Freedom Battle also by Michael W Smith

    You can listen to 30 second clips of them here:

    Pennywise-"Bro Hymn" is an extremely good one, as well.

    Thumbs up Depends.............

    Music for Videos.........

    I'm working on a couple of ideas now, but don't look for the finished products for a while yet...... One with some of my photos in it is at www.gdvfd18.com it's a combination of Hi8 footage and stills. A Tip: We put a piece of "A" side Velcro on the Dash of each piece, and "B" side Velcro on the bottom of the Camera. Throw the Camera in as you get in, set it up, start it, and you get the response footage, without holding the camera in your hands.

    As to Music, I like Fast Paced, Hard Driving Instrumentals for action stuff, (Responses, Fireground, etc) Since I play (sort of) an Acoustic Bass Guitar, I stay with Bluegrass and Classic Country.

    Nice video, Chief! Ours for the year to date is on myspace, I'll have to upload it to YouTube and post the link from there. We ended up using the P.O.D. song "Whatever It Takes".
