Default The best music for fire video?

Whats some good tracks to put as music for a fire video from a training academy? It will be shown at graduation, everything from guys doing pushups to a live fire exercise, dragging hoses, running a circ saw into a car with sparks... Some heavy metal might be cool and what else?

Maralyn Manson The Beautiful people has a pretty cool intro for 45 seconds, any other suggestions?

Nothing corn ball like Bette Midler Wind Beneath my Wings please...

"Standing outside the Fire"by Garth Brooks and "The Fireman"by George Strait come to mind.
"Angels among us" by Alabama for the serious moments showing firefighter rescue training, perhaps.
Speed up scenes of the insturctors running the students through PT and play "Yakkety Sax"aka "The Benny Hill Song"for some good laughs.

Maybe the theme from "Emergency"or even "Third Watch" would work.Is this an asignment for you or is the whole class kicking this around?

It's all mine because I was the only one dumb enough to say "I've got a video camera" when the academy started. Everyone shouted "We've got our video guy!! You're in charge of the graduation video that all our family and friends will be watching!" No pressure!

Actually, I'm hoping it turns out good and I'll post it on Youtube when finished (Academy goes until December)...

    Thanks for the musical selections

I'm sure you've already checked... but here are some videos online. They use some pretty decent songs.

AND HOW COULD ANYONE FORGET METALLICA???!!

I also have a DVD of a HFD academy, I'll look later and see what songs they use. I know they had different songs for each part/drill... the songs tended to match up with the footage well.

One of the better presentations I've seen had "He Ain't Heavy" by the Hollies and U2 "Elevation." It was for family day at a probie school. The montage had pictures and video.

?? You may want to look at copywrite laws - FIRST!! Make sure you can use that music or material before you do and not break any laws.

No need to get your self 10 years in a federal pen and a big fine for using music that is copywrited and land up on the other side of the law and behind bars.

Beside a total embarrasment to your self, your family, fire company, your fire department and all the firefighters in the US!!

You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
