It just came out that Anthony Reyes will be the starting pitcher for game 1.

Hope you get swept in 4 by the Tigers.

    Signed,

    THE METS

Tough loss for the Mets but I'm still wearing my hat. You can't win if you don't hit and score runs. They should have won (game 2?) but they gave it away. Oh well now time to focus on the NY Giants

They should have won game 7. They lost it in the 6th inning, momentum on thier side after a huge catch by Chavez, bases loaded 1 out, after an error and a walk, and score no one.

Go Tigers, been a long time for them.
You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

    Good luck with that! HAHAHA

Oh wait, maybe I'm thinking of the Jets.

Ooopps (went to check the Giants history) .... but it's still been awhile since they've won the SuperBowl.

Oh well, fun to bug ya about the Mets losing, anyway!

I don't really follow baseball, but hasn't it been a gazillion years since the Tigers have won? Or even been in the World Series?

A friend of mine from Jasper is a huge Tigers fan, she'll be in heaven. It was great fun watching the games with her when the Blue Jays and Tigers were both in the playoffs one year. Early '90s?

Maybe we should add that to the "Famous last words" thread. Cards are up 3 to 1, the only thing that the Kitties are walking all over is their own tail. I hear PineTar is a good investment BTW.

The Cards deserved the series....They played like a team and looked good doing it. David Eckstein had an awsome series and a much deserved MVP. How about Jeff Weaver??? He had the game of his life. I just wish they would have let him finish it out.
