Morning Pride. You can see the specs in the Morning Pride catalog and on their site, as I believe MP has made their spec a stock option for everyone else to purchase.

Management is making sure things are done right. Leadership is doing the right thing. The fire service needs alot more leaders and a lot less managers.
"Everyone goes home" is the mantra for the pussification of the modern, American fire service.
Comments made are my own. They do not represent the official position or opinion of the Fire Department or the City for which I am employed. In fact, they are normally exactly the opposite.

I've never really heard anyone badmouth the MP gear before. The guys in my dept love it. Not that I ever had any complaints about the Janesville PBI I had prior to us switching to MP, that was good stuff too.

i was watching that "into the fire" show on the history channel. it showed a few pics of chicago with the rubber coat and pull up boots. i know this is going to be stupid, but does chicago still use those??? or do they use the more modern ppr? just wondering.

Hoo boy! Here we go. From what I have gathered reading these forums...Chicago does still use the long coats and 3/4 boots. However, members of CFD on this forum have said that they have been measured for bunkers in recent months, and that CFD should be switching over in the not too distant future...much to their consternation.

Nine3 Probie beat me to it...lol
However, I lived right next door to Chicago for over 12 years, it will be strange seeing them in full turnouts.
Here is another pot stirring question though...is there gear gonna be black or brown???
