My helmet came in yesterday. Only problem, was handtubs sent me somebody else's helmet. No biggie though it happened to be somebody over on the IACOJ forums and I gave him a ring last night, and beings we both got the same helmet we're just shipping each other the shields. But other then that little speed bump I love the helmet, cant wait until I can put it in service.

I ordered mine today. It's going to be a long 4-6 weeks waiting on it though.

I have had mine for a month or so and i love it I will never wear another helmet again. I finally got a fire with it the other day and it was everything I expected. Can't say enough good about it. If you are thinking about getting one but not sure do it. It is worth every penny I was thinking about buying one for a year before I did and I still don't know why I waited so long.

I have to talk to Dave over at Handtub Junction and ask about commissions on each sale...

I've been reading this thread and was wondering how it holds up to extreme heat? I teach fire attack techniques quite often and was wondering if anyone has had any issues with the paint or leather cracking.

Any complaints or issues with the rachet or suspension system?

Looks good in the pictures so far, so thanks to everyone for posting them!

Mine has seen a good bit of heat. It is holding up extremely well. Zero complaints.

What are you waiting for, a good woman or a Phenix TL2?

Both, a good woman wearing a Phenix TL2. The best of both worlds.

Not that I'm looking for a woman (I'm Female). I'm looking for a Man (A Real Man).

Ha, my helmet. My wife is great, she finally gave in and let me buy it. She got tired of me talking about it.

My wife got me mine for Christmas. (Now you know why I married her)

Love the lid. Very comfortable, no complaints. I have beaten it up on training a bit. Banging around the smoke maze left it with no paint chips, or major dings.

Unfortunately it has not been in any hot fires yet.
