I've never heard of those exam prep books personally. But I have used the ones published by Jones and Bartlett/IAFC, written by Dr. Ben Hirst. Dr. Hirst runs a testing company who sells test banks to agencies/states. Conviently my state uses his test banks. These exam prep books are based off of these test banks. Therefore, in the past, it's to have been for me that 70-80% of the questions in the exam prep books are the exact same ones I get on the state tests. Find out if your state/agency subscribes to PTS (performance training systems), if so, my opinion is to get the exam prep books from J&B.
